Description
Creamy, refreshing raspberry milkshake with vanilla ice cream, fresh raspberries, and milk. Optional raspberry puree enhances flavor.

- 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
- 1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, slightly thawed)
- 1/2 cup milk (whole milk recommended)
- 2 tablespoons raspberry syrup (optional)
- Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
- Fresh raspberries, for garnish (optional)
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine raspberries and 2 tablespoons milk in a small saucepan.
- Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until raspberries soften (5-7 minutes).
- (Optional) Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Discard seeds.
- Cool slightly.
- In a blender, combine softened ice cream, remaining milk, and raspberry puree (or softened raspberries). Add raspberry syrup if using.
- Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy (30-60 seconds).
- Taste and adjust sweetness/raspberry flavor as needed.
- Pour into chilled glasses.
- Top with whipped cream (optional).
- Garnish with fresh raspberries and maraschino cherries (optional).
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a smoother milkshake, strain the raspberry puree to remove the seeds.
- Adjust the amount of milk to achieve your desired consistency.

- For a vegan version, use vegan ice cream and plant-based milk.
