Instructions

  1. Select a ripe pineapple with a sweet aroma, vibrant color, and fresh green leaves.
  2. Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple to create a stable base.
  3. Stand the pineapple upright and slice off the skin, removing all the eyes.
  4. Cut the pineapple into quarters lengthwise and remove the core from each quarter.
  5. Chop the pineapple flesh into smaller chunks.
  6. Place the chopped pineapple into a blender. Add sugar if desired.
  7. If you prefer a thinner juice, add 1 cup of cold water to the blender.
  8. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds until smooth. Adjust consistency with more water if needed.
  9. Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or pitcher.
