A quick and easy Lazy Cheese Ravioli Lasagna that layers cheesy goodness with marinara sauce and ravioli for a comforting meal, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

- 1 package (9 oz) of refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Set the cheese mixture aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place a single layer of cheese ravioli over the sauce (about half of the package).
- Dollop half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the ravioli and spread it out gently.
- Sprinkle half a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.
- Pour another layer of marinara sauce over the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layering process: another layer of ravioli, the remaining ricotta mixture, more mozzarella, and another layer of marinara sauce.
- For the final layer, place the last of the ravioli on top, cover it with the remaining marinara sauce, and finish with a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Carefully remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow the lasagna to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the cheese mixture by adding spinach or other vegetables for extra nutrition.
- This lasagna can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
