Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Optional: additional cinnamon sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Roll out homemade dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Fold the edges for a thicker crust if desired.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Brush the melted butter generously over the entire surface of the dough, including the edges.
- Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the sugar has caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Gradually mix in heavy cream until the mixture reaches a drizzle-able consistency.
- Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pizza.
- Sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar on top if desired.
- Slice into wedges (about 8 slices).
- Enjoy warm, perfect for dessert or a sweet snack!
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes.
