Quick & easy creamy chocolate strawberry yogurt. Healthy breakfast, snack, or dessert packed with protein and flavor!

- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or non-fat)
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)
- Optional: A sprinkle of sea salt
- Optional: Extra strawberries for garnish
- Optional: A dollop of whipped cream or coconut cream
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash, hull, and slice strawberries. Set aside a few slices for garnish if desired.
- Combine Yogurt and Cocoa Powder: In a medium bowl, stir together Greek yogurt and cocoa powder until mostly combined.
- Sweeten and Flavor: Add honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Incorporate the Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle in chocolate chips and gently stir.
- Optional: Add Sea Salt: Add a tiny pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.
- Chill (Optional): Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
- Serving: Spoon into a bowl or glass.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish with extra strawberry slices and/or whipped cream/coconut cream.

Notes
- For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup or agave.
- Use frozen strawberries if fresh are not available, thaw and drain excess liquid.
- Experiment with other fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or bananas.
- Add nuts or seeds for extra crunch and nutrition.
- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Dutch-processed cocoa powder will give you a richer, darker chocolate flavor, while natural cocoa powder will have a slightly more acidic taste.
