  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi-sweet)
  • Optional: A sprinkle of sea salt
  • Optional: Extra strawberries for garnish
  • Optional: A dollop of whipped cream or coconut cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Wash, hull, and slice strawberries. Set aside a few slices for garnish if desired.
  2. Combine Yogurt and Cocoa Powder: In a medium bowl, stir together Greek yogurt and cocoa powder until mostly combined.
  3. Sweeten and Flavor: Add honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  4. Incorporate the Strawberries: Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
  5. Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle in chocolate chips and gently stir.
  6. Optional: Add Sea Salt: Add a tiny pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.
  7. Chill (Optional): Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
  8. Serving: Spoon into a bowl or glass.
