- Melted butter

Instructions
- Brush the next layer of phyllo dough with melted butter, repeating this process until all the nut mixture and phyllo dough are used, finishing with a top layer of phyllo. Brush the final layer with melted butter.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the baklava for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool.
- In a small saucepan, combine the honey, water, and vanilla extract. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Once the cheesecake has chilled and the baklava topping is cool, carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and place it on a serving platter.
- Top the cheesecake with the baked baklava, breaking it into pieces if necessary to fit. Drizzle the honey syrup over the baklava topping.
