Description
These Air Fryer Steak Bites are juicy and flavorful, marinated in a blend of spices and cooked to perfection. Perfect as an appetizer or main dish, they are best served with fresh lemon wedges for an extra zing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Trim any excess fat from the sirloin steak to keep the bites juicy.
- Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes, aiming for uniform size for even cooking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the steak cubes to the bowl and toss until well coated.
- Let the steak marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour in the fridge for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the marinated steak cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness at 8 minutes; for medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Cook longer if desired.
- Remove the steak bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty flavor boost.
- Enjoy as an appetizer or main dish, paired with roasted vegetables, salad, or fries.
- Consider offering dipping sauces like garlic aioli or spicy sriracha mayo for added flavor.
Notes
- For best results, choose a tender cut of steak like sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin.
- Adjust cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
- Marinating for longer enhances the flavor, so plan ahead if possible.
