  • Author: Dottie
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Air Fryer Steak Bites are juicy and flavorful, marinated in a blend of spices and cooked to perfection. Perfect as an appetizer or main dish, they are best served with fresh lemon wedges for an extra zing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Trim any excess fat from the sirloin steak to keep the bites juicy.
  2. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes, aiming for uniform size for even cooking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the steak cubes to the bowl and toss until well coated.
  5. Let the steak marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to an hour in the fridge for deeper flavor.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Arrange the marinated steak cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  9. Check for doneness at 8 minutes; for medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Cook longer if desired.
  10. Remove the steak bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  11. Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
  12. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty flavor boost.
  13. Enjoy as an appetizer or main dish, paired with roasted vegetables, salad, or fries.
  14. Consider offering dipping sauces like garlic aioli or spicy sriracha mayo for added flavor.

Notes

  • For best results, choose a tender cut of steak like sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
  • Marinating for longer enhances the flavor, so plan ahead if possible.
